This place is in a great location, first of all there is a premier in 30 seconds away, secondly canary wharf is only a 3 minute walk away. I came in hungry for some spicy food and i ordered the chicken nagashari it was a 9/10. I also ordered a mushroom rice and a garlic naan , first of all the garlic naan was very big and you can tell it was made in a proper tandoori oven , the mushroom rice was nice and average. The staff were very friendly and i had a very long chat with one of the waiters , the music reminded me of the good old days . The interior was gave a 19’s vibe and it was pretty cool. Overall this place is 9/10 i would recommend to anyone staying in the hotel nearby and anyone local .

The atmosphere in this restaurant wasn't good because of the hustle and bustle of deliveries. A lot of people coming and going. It wasn't restful. There was a trolley in the restaurant and it seemed more like a workspace that a place to relax and eat. The food was wonderful it was just spoilt by the restaurant being an extended workspace to the kitchen. The staff weren't that attentive. I recommend you get a takeaway from them instead of eating in.

This has got to be the most flavoursome Indian Restaurant in the UK. Interior is ok, I'd rate the Interior 3 stars, it's traditional, comfortable and cosy. But the food is truly awesome and I really mean it...Mouthwatering flavours. I've been ordering from this place for the last 18 years and the flavours are spot on, I've never had any problems with this restaurant. No matter where I am, when I want an Indian, it's always this place because I've tried the rest. This place always delivers the food how it should be. I can tell just from the flavours the chef has been here since day one even though I've never met the chef which I would like to meet one day. The food is never overcooked or undercooked, the chefs skills are precisely perfect. My favourite starter is the fat-free Shami Kebab, and when I mean fat-free it doesn't mean it comes dry, it's juicy and full of flavours with grilled onions on top (checkout the picture) My favourite main dish is the Chicken Dansak with extra slices of garlic and green chilli. The chef knows exactly how I want and customise it for me, and I am very picky when it comes to food. The dansak is full of extra toppings, they don't fall short when you ask them (check the chicken dansak in the picture) Side dish I usually go for the Vegetable Bhajee, and again the way the vegetables are cooked it's truly flavoursome. Most restaurants the vegetables seems to be boring and soggy, but in this restaurant, it's something you would not dislike. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and I promise you'd be satisfied. I usually order takeaway and I still yet to meet the chef and the management just to say...THANK YOU. EXCELLENT SERVICE & EXCELLENT FOOD

Has character but the Chiken Biryani and Soup is the best I have ever tasted. Would love to have the recipe (if I could)

Been here twice. Both times it was really tasty food, good sized portions and decent value. Service was good with the owner spending time to come and talk to us. Will definitely return again. Well worth pairing it up with a visit to the local cinema or Museum of Docklands.

I came here today and ordered chicken tikka masala with pilau rice and naan bread. The chicken tikka masala is one of the best I've ever had in my life! The taste is so rich and full of flavour and it's not watery or oily unlike some other curries in other restaurants. The pilau rice was delicious too and I could eat it just by itself without the curry, it's so tasty. The naan bread was so soft and fresh and also delicious. I would highly recommend them, they really do make delicious food and are generous with their portions. The fact that they were getting constant takeaway orders shows I'm not the only one who thinks their food is amazing!
